Advert Analysis
Advert One:This advert uses this particular image to show how strong the helmet is by showing the man injured everywhere else apart from the part that the helmet was worn. The use of the red logo makes it stand out from the white background, also the colour red has connotations of danger which this product is trying to prevent and protect from danger. The target audience for this product is people who have a passion for riding a bike and also people who are very safety conscious.
Advert Two:The advert uses this image to show how sharp the knife is, the denotation for this product is that it is sharp enough to cut through both food and wood, which is the main message for this product. Also the white background has connotations of cleanliness which is important when advertising with food. The target audience for this product is stereotypically aimed at women because women are seen to be the ones who cook more than men, and also women are seen to be more particular about the cleanliness of kitchen utensils

Advert Three:
The advert uses this image to imply how the dogs breath smells so bad it made the bird die, this contrasts to the connotations of dogs as they are friendly, loving and affectionate. The visual hyperbole is used to convey the message that the dog treats can even solve bad breath and this makes the advert more humorous. The target audience for this product is dog owners that take care of their pets.
