  • I feel that the target audience for this product is females aged between 20 and 40, this is because stereotypically females are more interested in celebrity life, gossip and the latest fashions which hello magazine offers. 
The Sun:
  • The target audience for this product is both men and women aged between 40 and 80, this is because the sun aims to show political views and general news from around the world, which appeals to this age group more because they tend to read from newspapers rather than online, and also because this is stereotypically what they are more interested in reading.














Audio / Visual 

The Greatest Showman:
  • I feel that the target audience for this film is from ages 5 to 25, this is because it is aimed at the younger generation because of the music, content and the language used because its easier to understand so that they can aim it more at the younger generation.
Coronation Street:
  • The prime target audience for this soap opera is females aged between 30 and 80, this is because it includes drama and simple story lines which are easy to follow, this is because stereotypically females enjoy watching more drama and gossip filled stories.

This is very good work Grace with some really good detail about the factors that affect target audiences, however some of your age groups are a little wide. 5 to 25 for example is very wide Consider the average five year old compared to the average 25 year old- they won't have much in common. Do not get target audience and actual audience mixed up. Reply to this post with a clearer idea of age categories and also consider lifestyle choices and preferences as a key element of audience targeting.

    And you also need to do the interactive products as well.
